Alrighty so here is my weekly progress report. :)
I am currently on Day 4 of Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred and it’s kicking my ass! ..in a good way though. I also kind of binged 3 days last week sadly. But I don’t feel that bad because April is a no binge-zone. So I’m just going to keep going with this positive mind set I got going on and yup, that’s how it’s going to go.
Oh!!!!!! And guess what? I got some workout/running shoes! I am going through a really tough financial situation with my mom and things have been rough so I’ve been working out in these shoes that are definitely not made for working out but what’s a broke girl to do? My feet have been receiving the consequences though. But now it’s all good!!
I want to start running but at since I’m really self-conscious and lack confidence (I’ve always been like this), I don’t want to run in the neighborhood when people are out and about. So I’m going to wake up superrrrrr early tomorrow and get my ass out there when nobody’s up or inside their house getting ready! So wish me luck!!!!!!!
Oh and so I know no one reads my post since I’m not really popular but if anyone can help me figure out how to post my progress stuff on the page My Progress on my blog, if so please help!!! I tag it with #my progress and it doesn’t work.

Okay, so I apologize for not updating yesterday but yeah here it is (even though I feel like no one reads my posts anyway):
I started the 30 Day Challenge on March 6th and today was my 8th day. I can see a major difference in my endurance level and I think I lost a few pounds. I’m trying to stay away from the scale and wait until April 9th because that’s when I go to the doctor to weigh in. I am also getting some kind of arm muscles!!!!! So excited!
Although with this great improvement, I still can’t do push ups very well. I feel better though when my mom told me that when she entered the Army she couldn’t do a single one and it took the 3 months of basic training for her to get it down packed. Now I’m sure the Army was doing wayyy tougher stuff than me so that makes me feel like less of a failure. lol
I’ve been eating pretty healthy except yesterday I had an empanda con guava y queso, yuuummmmm and an ice cream from Baskin Robins. I’m home schooled so me and mom finally got out of the house and decided to treat ourselves. Not one ounce of guilt is in my body though. Treats are good when it’s in moderation.
Well, before this post becomes a short story I have a non-health-related question. Does anyone know how I can post these progress texts under the page on my blog that’s for “My Progress”? Or do I have to keep updating that little text box thingy when you edit a page you added?
Today was my rest day, well every Sunday is. So here’s what’s been going on.
I was supposed to work out Saturday but my alarm didn’t wake me up and I woke up a 12… but when I woke up I was soooooo sore from my lowerbody workout on Friday. I also bought Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred so I decided I would get two days rest in preparation for my kickass new workout on Monday. I’m glad I did because I feel better today so I’ll be ready for tomorrow.
So yes I am doing the 30 Day Shred. I kept hearing about how great it was so I decided to do it.
Also, I woke up this morning and I can see some improvement in my stomach!!! I’m soo happy! I weighed myself and I think I lost 3 pounds!!! Couldn’t be happier.
Anyways, that’s it. My first progress post.
Oh and one thing I noticed with tumblr is that when I follow fitness blogs it says that my personal blog is following them so I hope people go on my page and then click on my fitness blog if they want to check it out instead of my personal but whatever.
Okay, that’s officially it. :)
So this is another fitness blog on top of hundreds of others. This isn’t so much about followers but a motivating factor for myself. I started following fitness blogs to get motivated but then when I wanted to reblog stuff I realized I didn’t want to cover my personal blog with work out stuff so here I am.
If I do get any followers, I will gladly help anybody with any information. I’m just a senior in high school so I’m no expert but I do a lot of research and know a bit of stuff and if not I can look it up or give you a link to something with way more knowlege than me. :)
I look forward to go on this journey to a healthy me! I am currently 139 (I’m 5’4”) and my goal weight is 125. I have a lot of pudge so I want to firm up with some muscle, actually a lot of it, haha.. So we shall see how this goes!
